Maybe it is just the true nature of Facebook and the Internet and no I am not talking about the easy access of hardcore porn .... Or any kind of porn for that matter. 

Facebook and the Internet and even the news has become factless bullshit!  Yes you heard it right. What a load of bullshit. I don't mind my ignorant friends who can't tear themselves from the local bar long enough to vote ranting and raving about how shitty the world is and how our president is a no good Muslim.  

There are more than enough facts to base your dislike or disagreement on than just making things up. These are the people posting that the US Govt is spending billions on a weekend vacation for the president and First Lady. Fact check ... Go to the Congressional Budget office (non-partisan) to learn that tax dollars being spent on these trips are zero.  

In 2008 everyone bitched and complained about Jeremiah Wright the Preacher at the presidents church (Christian) because he bashed the US for things. Great that at least is basing your hatred for the president based on what someone else says. But now of course he has been at league with the Muslim Brotherhood (a group that doesn't like Christians or Americans). So which is it?  Is he an American hating Christian or an Egyptian Muslim ....

Good god people are stupid. These are the same slack jawed asswhipes that defended George Bush.

Art

There is art in everything. From my friend the painter to my wife the gardner to a chef in a kitchen. Each can make something beautiful out of plane items. 

Are you an artist?  What can you do?

I always dreamed of being a writer and making my living writing novels making enough money to live off in the woods. They I got married (a good thing) and got a dog (also a good thing) and now I have 4 kids (a great thing). 

But I still long to be a writer. Every year I sign up for NaNoWriMo and at least start a new novel. Even got to the 50,000 word mark on 3 of the 6 years. And I write this blog although I don't write this blog more than I actually write it. 

But I am an artist. I do the Que as they say. Or BBQ. Or the master of smoke (sounds more like my college nickname). But that is what I do and I must say I am pretty darn good!

It appears as if the invasion was called off. The aliens must have seen the vigilant planning we were putting in place (ie loading our guns and pre-impregnating our women folk).

Our flag has never seemed so glorious as when I woke this morning to find that the aliens had not invaded.

INVASION

They are coming!  I just saw this through my mega-zoom big lots telescope. We only have a matter of hours before the invasion occurs. Kiss your loved ones and load your guns. The time of reckoning is upon us!

We know the government will not protect us and Hollywood has proven to us over the years that these creatures do not come in peace ... They come to enslave us and drain us of our water and then impregnate our women folk. 

WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!

Low Informed Voter

So I have spent the last 12 hours arguing with some whack job over the definition of low informed voter in addition to fables of election law both nationally and on a state level. I am going to make my definition of low informed voter because I thing mine is more comprehensive and accurate than most.

"Low Informed Voter" = a single issues voter. The pundits group low informed as low income or depending on the pundit minority voters and thus they say that they vote for their freebies that the government gives out to them. Fine if a low informed voter only votes to get something then pro-choice, pro-life, pro-gun, anti-gun voters are also low informed voters. If a single issue blind your whole vote the. You are low informed. The difference being that these voters, in the eyes of the pundits, are white and educated. So they are "single issue" voters which is smart talk for low informed voter.

A union member who votes for someone who raids his pension fund only because that person will support conceal carry is a low informed voter. The same with a pro-choice voter who will vote for someone who will turn around and cut funds to education or the department of corrections or will raise their taxes.

I am lumping the extremes of all of these together. Not all pro-gun, pro-choice or pro-anything voters a like that but enough are to make you wonder. We already have abysmal voter turnout in this country and the 30% of eligible voters who are actually turning out have a significant number of my defined "low informed voters."

We need more information and more motivation to get people involved.

Things that drive me nuts!

Maybe I have done politics too long.  Even people I support annoy me with their lack of knowledge of how to get things done.  A few things that drive me nuts and that I suggest:
#1 know your audience -- don't talk jobs to the wealthy
#2 if someone says they don't support them then stop communicating with them
#3 once someone supports you leave them alone until it is time to remind them to vote

Are you Anonymous ??????

The question remains to be seen but the gist of the argument is this.  Is working together as one unknown face to try and accomplish change the right way to go about it or is the best way to voice and rally people to your cause with what you as an individual have to say?

I tend to wear my politics on my sleeve.  I lived and worked it for years so i really had no choice.  It paid the bills.  But even in that environment you had to conform in certain comments and your public discourse.  I must admit I threatened to fire people who held personal blogs and expressed non-party speak while being paid by the group collective.

That being said i am now doing this site under the face of Anonymous so as not to deter from what I do in my day to day employment and to not bring problems to my family.  I can free flow without the constant critical editing of my employers.

What do you do?  Are you Anonymous or do you live your life in the sunlight trying to change thing as an individual.  Both have their merits and their place in the world and in history.

I am by no means a hacker who can live without the constraints and controls put in place in the computer world to guide me along.  But in the political world I can do both.  I slip in and out of the sunlight depending on how best I can help who i want to help.  Sometimes publicly and sometimes behind the scenes.

I have been fully assimilated into The Borg!  I plugged into the mothership and am waiting for full extraction into the matrix!

And another blasphemous day of rantings and ravings of the politicians in this country.  One blow hard believes that we need to put 30,000 people on the moon and then they can be our 51st state?  Really? (GGGRRRRRRRR)  I think we have a 51st state of America already out there.  The one percent is the 51st state.  They buy and sell the other 50 states like they are bubble gum cards.

What we fail to realize is that we live in a far better place than the rest of the world.  We shouldn't believe empty promises from politicians who want to solve everything for us.  They can get us a job or feed our families.  We as a country need to get off our collective fat asses and make a difference.  Want a job then go fucking get one.  Can't find one then start a business.  Every day spent sitting on your ass watching FOX/News (what a joke) is another day you have given up your freedom and spirit of being an American.

You want zero percent same as cash ... then save up your money and buy it with cash.  Otherwise your just another chump.
